The House
There is not much to report on the house. Very little has been done over the last few weeks. There have been a few snow showers here and there, but for the most part it has just been cold. We are finding more mistakes in the house than progress. Travis noticed to basement windows are too narrow (by two feet). Hopefully they will pour the garage foundation soon (they other two house they are working on were poured around Christmas) and the roof on. The material for the roof has been delivered 1.5 weeks ago. I am trying to stay patient through this process. It doesn't look like they will meet the contract date of March 17th. That is only 4.5 weeks away. I really wish I could be packing right now. Started a little, but I don't want to pack too much until we know when they will be finished. Right now the entire west side of the house and top of the house is open to the elements. I am starting to really hate the house we are renting. Hopefully there will be more progress soon.

Becca Turns 2!!
Becca turned two on Thursday the 10th. She woke up to a decorated home. She definitely understood it was her birthday that day. She would do the "birthday dance" she created. As I disciplined Becca she would remind me it was her birthday. Grandma and Amanda came over for supper and cake. We had an ice cream cake for her (she does not like regular cake and I broke the cake I baked for her), she ate every last bite. Dad had to pull the plate away before she started licking it. We all had a fun night.

House update
We took a trip up on Sunday night to see how the new house was coming along. Here are some pictures. Still hoping to make the contract date and move in around early March. I am starting to get really excited about all of it.

Milestones
Today I took Becca and Brayden in for their well check-ups. I will start with Becca. Becca turns two next Thursday. I am sure we will be having cake. As always we will be decorating the house for when she wakes up. I lost, so I have given up on birthday parties after age one, until school age, when friends can come to the parties. Her height was 33.5 inches and her weight was 33lbs. She is doing well. She is potty trained now. For the day time that is. She is trying out temper tantrums lately. Becca also decided to boycott vegetables and meat (unless processed such as hot dogs and lunch meat). She can run (on tiptoes some times), jump, skip, gallop, sing and talk in almost complete thoughts. She hates getting her picture taken.
Brayden was 4 months on Monday so, this was his four month check up. He is 26 inches long, weighs 15lbs 6oz. He had a huge growth in is height and head. He gained weight (4lbs) but not at the rate he grew. The doctor is not concerned about it. He is eating cereals and fruit. He can roll over both ways. When on his tummy he can lift himself on his chest off the ground. He is getting interested in toys. He likes his mom still but also takes to the girls and Travis. After he naps I found out he only likes his mom. Though for the MOPS meetings and book club he goes to a few of my friends with no problem at all. So, if your are not in his circle of "friendly faces" he cries. I am starting to remember the girls at this stage. He is sleeping through the night!!! Yes, that means I am sleeping. Though during the day he is up all day. So, it can get a little crazy around our house.
Today we also checked out our new home. The first floor is up and they are working on the second floor today. Travis took some pictures while he was out there this afternoon. I will post them tonight after Stargate Atlantis (still fight to watch that show). Well, it is off to get Brayden (his legs hurt after his shots today).

A Christmas Story.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
This holiday has been a memorable one for us. Starting the Friday before Christmas everyone but Travis had a cold. Saturday morning Travis gets a crying Becca in the morning and she throws-up on him. She continued it every half our that morning until nap time. After nap she seemed fine. Of course at this point she was on a clear liquid diet. Sunday after lunch started the uncontrollable loose BM. All was fine by supper. Christmas eve morning all seemed fine. Everyone eating, laughing and playing. We decide to head out to Travis' parents for a formal and fun Christmas Eve. Just after everyone has arrived and is about to eat, Marisa asks dad to hold her. A few moments later she throws-up all over her dad. We pack up and head home. We spend the night with her head in a bucket or over the toilet until 4am. Santa asked us to put a kitchen together for the girls so they could play right away. We finished at about 6:30 am. The girls woke up at 7:30. Marisa was the first up excited about the morning. She did well all day. Wednesday rolls around and all are healthy, until 9 or 10pm when Marisa cries and I find her heaving her supper. Travis is up with her until 4am again. But she continues to throw- up through the morning. Friday morning and afternoon are going great. All are healthy playing and laughing. So, we try it again, we head of to Travis' parents for a fun night. Everyone is doing great. We all had a great time. We arrive home and everyone falls asleep quickly (well, Brayden did after he threw-up all over Travis, and Brayden barely ever spits up). Then at 11:30 we are called by the two girls. Marisa starts throwing-up again. Becca we are able to calm down though she was about to start. Since then everyone has been healthy. So, if we forgot to call anyone it's because we have had a very busy week with no sleep. We hope everyone starts the New Year great!

Brayden's 2 month check-up
It's not quite 2 months for Brayden but since he needed to go in for something else they did the check up today. He is growing fast.
Weight: 11lbs 9oz
Height: 22 1/4 inches
HC: 38.2 cm
The doctor said that he is doing fine and growing. Brayden can consistently roll from his tummy to his back. He has gained a lot of control with his head. He is enjoying mobiles now.
I was very thankful that Travis was able to make it to the doctor's office. The girls and I also got the flu shot today as Brayden got his shots. So we had 3 kids crying at one time. It felt like we didn't have enough arms for all the hugs needed.

Update
Sorry I have been slow with pictures. I was sick all last week with a cold that was passed on to me from Travis and the girls. Brayden is finally starting to get a little bit of a schudule. Still has me up for more of the night than I would like. His 2 month check-up is Nov. 1st so I will post his weight then. The girls still love having Brayden around. Each of them help all day long. Becca is really proud with helping change his diaper and claimed the job of throwing his dirty diapers away. Becca also has decided that it is her time to potty train. I just wish I had more time to work with her. She will poop on the potty but will not pee. Brayden will be baptized Oct 20th at 4:45pm. I hope to find a way to take pictures and post them. (they are having problems up loading pictures right now. I will try again later)

Happy Birthday Travis!!

Happy 30th Birthday Travis!! The girls miss you and think it is "not fair" that you have to be at work (Brayden misses you too but the girls can talk and tell me the miss you. Brayden is just very hungry and sleepy today). I will have a cold beer waiting for you to celebrate with. I hope the last 30 years were wonderful and can't wait to see the many years to come with you!!! Here are a few pics for memories.

Brayden Michael is born!
We had a baby boy August 31. He was 7lbs and 19.5 inches long. He surprised us by coming about 4 weeks early. My water broke at about 8 or 8:30am on friday. He was born at 1:01 pm via c-section. We are doing well and home. I had to have an epidurial blood patch due to a spinal head ache. That has put me on limited mobility for a little while. Other than that we are all well. I will post pictures soon!

Marisa turns 3!!!
Marisa turned 3 yesterday. She had lots of fun opening presents, eating cake and having supper with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to the doctor today for a check-up. Marisa weights 36 lbs and 14 oz (90%) and she is 36.75” tall. Doctor said that she is growing well. Here are some pictures from yesterday. I made the cake. Yes, it is not level. That is because our oven is not level. Travis did his best to level the cake for me. The Cinderella blanket was made by Tres and me. She crochet the blanket and I cross stitched the picture.

Dr. Visit

We just got back from the doctor's office. Everything seems to be doing well. I lost 2lbs. I am now on insulin as well as medication and diet. They estimate the baby weighting over 4lbs already. Doctor said everything looked well on the ultra sound. Nothing has change about estimated dates of the 14th or 17th of Sept for the arrival of the new baby. Here are some new pics to look at.

Update
Yesterday Rebecca and I had check-ups with the doctors. It seems like the time has gone by too fast! Becca is now 18 months old. She is 30lbs and 31in long. She just keeps on growing! Doctor said that she is growing well and doing well. She just had one shot this time. She goes back when she is 2. I am now 30 weeks along with the new baby. The baby’s heart rate and my blood pressure are doing well. They did the glucose test yesterday. I officially have gestational diabetes again. They are starting me on some medicine first and diet to see how things go from there. I will be seeing someone at the hospital for the diabetes when we get back from Colorado. I will have another ultra sound at my next doctor’s visit on the 25th to see how the baby is growing. I now see the doctor every 2 weeks. Estimated birthday of the baby is the 14th or 17th of September, Travis gets to decide when since his birthday is the 17th.
We leave in the middle of the night tonight to Colorado. Anthony and Janelle are getting married on Friday and we can’t wait to celebrate with them! I hope to have some pictures to share of our trip when we get back. I will be checking my e-mail this week as I find computers.
We would like to congratulate everyone who got married this past weekend. We are sorry we were unable to make the trips. We hope we can see all of you soon!
