Brayden's 2 week check-up

Brayden was two weeks old last Friday. We took him to the doctor and he wieghed 7lbs 5oz. He grew a half inch to 20inches. Doctor said he is looking good and growing well. Still need to upload a few pictures to the computer. Hope to have more posted soon.

Happy Birthday Travis!!

Happy 30th Birthday Travis!! The girls miss you and think it is "not fair" that you have to be at work (Brayden misses you too but the girls can talk and tell me the miss you. Brayden is just very hungry and sleepy today). I will have a cold beer waiting for you to celebrate with. I hope the last 30 years were wonderful and can't wait to see the many years to come with you!!! Here are a few pics for memories.

Brayden Michael is born!

We had a baby boy August 31. He was 7lbs and 19.5 inches long. He surprised us by coming about 4 weeks early. My water broke at about 8 or 8:30am on friday. He was born at 1:01 pm via c-section. We are doing well and home. I had to have an epidurial blood patch due to a spinal head ache. That has put me on limited mobility for a little while. Other than that we are all well. I will post pictures soon!

Marisa turns 3!!!

Marisa turned 3 yesterday. She had lots of fun opening presents, eating cake and having supper with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to the doctor today for a check-up. Marisa weights 36 lbs and 14 oz (90%) and she is 36.75” tall. Doctor said that she is growing well. Here are some pictures from yesterday. I made the cake. Yes, it is not level. That is because our oven is not level. Travis did his best to level the cake for me. The Cinderella blanket was made by Tres and me. She crochet the blanket and I cross stitched the picture.

Dr. Visit

We just got back from the doctor's office. Everything seems to be doing well. I lost 2lbs. I am now on insulin as well as medication and diet. They estimate the baby weighting over 4lbs already. Doctor said everything looked well on the ultra sound. Nothing has change about estimated dates of the 14th or 17th of Sept for the arrival of the new baby. Here are some new pics to look at.

Travis just got the scanner working. Here is the last ultrasound pics of the new baby. I go for another ultra sound on the 25th.

Update

Yesterday Rebecca and I had check-ups with the doctors. It seems like the time has gone by too fast! Becca is now 18 months old. She is 30lbs and 31in long. She just keeps on growing! Doctor said that she is growing well and doing well. She just had one shot this time. She goes back when she is 2. I am now 30 weeks along with the new baby. The baby’s heart rate and my blood pressure are doing well. They did the glucose test yesterday. I officially have gestational diabetes again. They are starting me on some medicine first and diet to see how things go from there. I will be seeing someone at the hospital for the diabetes when we get back from Colorado. I will have another ultra sound at my next doctor’s visit on the 25th to see how the baby is growing. I now see the doctor every 2 weeks. Estimated birthday of the baby is the 14th or 17th of September, Travis gets to decide when since his birthday is the 17th.
We leave in the middle of the night tonight to Colorado. Anthony and Janelle are getting married on Friday and we can’t wait to celebrate with them! I hope to have some pictures to share of our trip when we get back. I will be checking my e-mail this week as I find computers.
We would like to congratulate everyone who got married this past weekend. We are sorry we were unable to make the trips. We hope we can see all of you soon!

Per request here are a few pictures taken over Mother's Day weekend. I need to start taken more pictures to put up here. One is of Becca getting stuck between the chair and table. The other is of Marisa helping me make a dip for Mandi's graduation. Hopefully we will remember to take pictures this weekend when we are visiting the Fields.

House is sold!

We sold our home in Kearney today. The papers were all signed this morning. We are happy that we no longer pay for two homes and look forward to finding a home to buy here. I am sure Travis and I will be celebrating with a beer (ok he will be drinking it, I will have something else) tonight.

News!!!

Travis and I are celebrating the sale of our home in Kearney with steak and a beer. So Travis will be drinking my beer for me tonight. The signing date is May 25th.

Doctor Visits

Becca had her 15 month check up today. I can not believe how much she grown! She is 30" tall and weighs 25.7 lbs. Her head is 47.4cm round. Travis said she was not fond of the shot she got but Marisa and Dad were there for her. She is running, climbing, and talking all the time. The two girls keep me busy all day!

I had my check-up today as well. The heart rate for the new baby was 142. We get to have an ultra sound nest visit on May 4th in the afternoon. Well, I better get back and help with bath time.

Well, we got our computer yesterday so I will post a picture from Easter now. There will be more as the week goes on. I had to cancel soccer practice last night. Today we will be gone all morning. I have a doctor's appointment for the new baby and Becca has her 15 month check-up. Have a great day!

Easter

Happy Easter! The girls had a great time this Easter. Marisa is still wanting to hunt eggs. Though she needs to be more careful with the real ones. We had a few cracked eggs that we needed to eat that day. Becca found their baskets first and the first eggs. They were interesting to here but not enough to dig through the basket.

Due to our computer getting even worse, I will post pictures this weekend. We are supposed to get our computer this weekend (keeping my fingers crossed). After it is up and running I will be posting more and putting up lots of pictures. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!
