New baby soon....

I have been having contractions since about November. My doctor said that they are stress induced contractions which makes them no less painful but more of and irritant at this time. I have been supposed to be off my feet for a while now but how do you I begin to do that with 3 kids running around and construction everywhere? So, I continue through my day and pray the contractions go away. Soon I just become numb to the pain. On Becca's birthday I fell flat on my back due to getting a splinter in our new wood floors (the one the old contractor incorrectly put down), and stepping in a slick spot with the other foot. I fell on my back and slightly to my left. I was in pain for a few days but the baby was fine. About 2.5 weeks ago the estimated to baby to weight about 6lbs. It surprised me how big the baby was already. My next appointment is this Thursday. The c-section date is Feb. 6th (the day before our anniversary).

Now we have a cold going through the house (I swear the kids got from playing with the clinic toys). Rebecca got it first with a fever. The Brayden got the fever and ear infection (not a fun little boy to be sick). I start to have a cold with him. Then Marisa got it with a fever and mine intensified. Marisa is getting better, Becca is great, and Brayden is doing good. I ended up in the ER last night because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Apparently I had a severe sinus infection. So now I am on antibiotics and tylenol 3.

Happy Birthday Becca!!

I can't believe that Rebecca turned 3 on the 10th. The years have gone by so fast! She had a little princess party. She wanted our neighbors to come up for the party. The three boys did well with an all pink party. I found all pink M&M's, princess plates and cups and the main event for her was the ice cream cake with Princesses on top. They are still talking about that cake today. Grandma and Papa came to make the day special for her. Mom made it scary when she fell, but is doing fine.

Merry Christmas!!

Now my Christmas cards and list all got packed so when I find them I will send them. We had a wonderful Christmas here. Travis rolled out some of the living room carpet so the kids could open gifts up on some carpet rather than sub floor. Brayden quickly got the idea of how to open gifts. He was pretty good at waiting for his own gifts which surprised me. He also only took a handful of ornaments off the tree. He mainly enjoyed looking at his reflection in them. Though I am confident he was distracted by the new house and what he could get into.

Becca loved her dollhouse and "dog". This is the kind of dog I like it has an "off" button. She loved decorating the tree and talking about their nativity. She hasn't learned to recognize her name yet so she had to rely on Marisa to find her gifts. She was the first up that morning but decided to go back to bed. Apparently it was too early for Becca to wake up (7am).

Marisa thought it was great that she could read everyone's name. She was proud to be in charge of handing out gifts. All she wanted from Santa was a Barbie dress. Marisa started opening her boxes and began crying. This confused Travis and I because they were new Barbie dolls and cars and such. Then she was making comments about Santa forgetting her. We quickly realized what was going on. She had not opened her dress up yet. Since Marisa wouldn't let us suggest any box to open we consoled her as much as possible. The very last gift she opened was the dress by then she was completely upset and just ripping into her presents not know what was in side. When Marisa opened her dress she screamed and started dancing around the room with it. After calming down she had to ask which gifts were hers.

Our Christmas was very memorable.

Long time.

I have not had the chance to blog in quite a long time. We had a sudden decision to move into our new home before the holidays. We "parted ways" as Travis likes to put it from our original builder. He was sticking to no time line, quality was getting horrible and wanted a lot more money oh and he stole material. So now Travis stays up 4-6 days a week until 4am or 5am working on the house. Currently he is staining and finishing coats the main stairwell so we can hopefully move everyone into their bedrooms soon. The kids and us are currently sleeping in the basement. We hired a new builder and are excited to see the house finished.
